It is a good likeness, and a good card I think. my wife’s a genius.

Leela Chef
It’s a little late, but I’m finally posting the birthday card my wife made for me this year. It features our cat Leela cooking up something in the kitchen, only to find my wife’s gorilla Koko playing the the batter.
Some of you might recognize this composition. That is because it is a parody of the Valentine’s Day Card I made a few months ago:
If you want you can see details of this earlier post Anyway, as you can see, my wife cleverly reversed the roles of the animals in her version. Nicely done, I say. As always.

Gorilla Chef
I finished this year’s Valentine’s Day card in the nick of time, minutes before my wife arrived home from work yesterday. It is a digital painting featuring two of her favorites: A gorilla and our cat Leela.
I feel a little bad not including our other cat Dr. Zoidberg, but he was too fat to fit in the bowl. I let both cats audition for the part by putting the bowl on the counter, and just letting them play around with it. Zoidberg could get his head and a paw in there, while Leela was able to get her whole self in. Here they are posing together for the reference photo that I ended up using:

Leela and Zoidberg X-mas Card
Here is the X-mas card my wife made me this year. It features our new kittens attacking their namesakes from Futurama. Vanessa is much better at art than I am at science.
