Seals arm themselves with two things: cuteness, and katana blades. It is difficult to say which of these weapons polar bears fear more. As the bears have cuteness of their own, it is likely the katana blades that most worry them. They act tough when confronted, but the bears inevitably turn tail and run from the seals, which is quite embarrassing for them. If they don't eventually learn Karate, they will suffer the same fate as the Mastodon, which was hunted to extinction by harp seals.
